Open Question: I purchased some furniture (In Texas)?
but I moved out of town (1hr away). I had informed the company of my new address and numbers.I made sure that it was okay that the furniture was taking with me. They had no problems. I started to find my furniture having defects (wood had detached itself from frame). Couches were uncomfortable .. You could actually feel the wood within. So I called them to tell them about the problems I was having and they had told me they would have someone contacting me about them to set up a time to have some one to inspect the furniture, But yet no one was sent out . So we called back to see what was the deal and that's when they told me that they were not going to send anyone out there until a payment was received. I told them I was not going to continue to make payments on this furniture if they are defected and I told them to come and pick up their furniture since they did not want to fix the problems. Now they have told me that they are not going to pick up the furniture and that we should have never brought them out of town in the first place ... They want for us to make the drive to return the furniture. They were shouting and being rude over the phone. So I sent them a certified letter asking them to pick their furniture up with all my information of where the furniture is located. Again they call after receiving the letter telling us that we are to bring in the furniture or they were going to report the property stolen... So what can I do ....? NOTE: I have only had these couches since Dec. 2009 when I first purchased them at my other home the couches were never used til we moved out of town and that is why we never knew of the defects of the furniture...
