Open Question: Trustee dismissing Chapter 13 case?

After 5 years, my Chapter 13 case is paid in full this month 2/10. I just received a letter form the trustee stating my case was going to be dismissed in April because I did not submit my tax returns from 2005 - 2008. I have requested copies of my tax returns from the IRS and I am going to send them in. My attorney said to submit them ASAP to avoid dismissal. My questions are 1. What is going to happen if I have already paid off my plan? 2. Will I get my discharge papers if I provide this information?
