Open Question: Which RN specialty is the most in demand and the highest paid?

Hello my name is Daisy and after having two children I am finally going back to school to get my BSN. I know that becoming a registered nurse you choose a specialty. I'd just like know which is best. Most in demand and highest paid. What continuing education is required? Certificates, etc? And just wondering what is needed to work in ICU?
