Open Question: Considering Waitressing... please advise =)?
i am in my fourth year of college and I still haven't recieved any type of degree. I've had to start with a few math remedials and well I failed a couple of classes because I had a major surgery, so I've been through a few struggles but who hasn't. I am doing well now but I just failed another class a pre-req for a UTSA Core requirments (World Lit). I can make it up but I think if I don't work so much that I can actually attend class instead of having to take online courses. Some people can make that work but I don't know anymore about myself. I have a job that I work 40 hrs a week and get $300 every Thursday, I am Thankful because some people don't even make half of that or less. I am thinking about becoming a waitress because I believe it does have its benefits of earning extra tips each night or day you work. Is it worth it to become a waitress? I feel I will have more time to myself and more time for school, which is all I want (more time for school). Does this sound like a good plan?? because I have a long ways to go with college I want to become an astronomer. I wanted to be a nurse but something just told me nah, that's not what your ment to do... So I'd rather inform people about where we really are and how (what we know) the universe and solar systems works according to the past scholars who came about these ideas and formulas.
