Open Question: UPS now fights job transfers. My wife is getting transferred. What do I do to get a job transfer?

My wife has a transfer coming up this fall. I have worked with UPS for 13 yrs, but from what I have heard from the teamsters union UPS is fighting all job transfers. What must I do to increase my chances of getting a job transfer with UPS so I can keep my job?
