Open Question: What happens if I wrote a bad check?

I accidently bounced 2 checks, one for $8.67 and one for $19.50...one bounced last week and the other one bounced this week. I had honestly just forgotten about the checks, but I need to know what consequences I am facing. Am I going to get into legal trouble for this? Someone please help me.
