Open Question: What is better an RPN or an RN?

RPN course is 2 years RN course is 4 I dont like school very much but i want to good in my future im 17 now and would like to figure out what i want to do with my future. I know i want to be a nurse but i dont know if it makes a big difference. Please help do you think being an RN is worth the extra 2 years?
