Open Question: Where should I go to start looking for a job as lifeguard?

So, i just got my lifeguarding classes done by the american red cross and to make a long story short, the pool i wanted to work at might not hire me. I have no idea where to start looking for a job! Should i just go strolling around and ask if they need a lifeguard? Is there a website that i could go to? fyi: Im 16 soon to be 17 male, in the Atlanta area.
