Open Question: Are airports monopolies?

Hi, I'm doing a assignment on monopolies, in my state there is one MAJOR airport ( international and domestic flights), also there are other minor airports doing intrastate and other domestic flights - with small airplanes - so would this market be a monopoly as the major airport has the high majority of market share or monopolistic competitive as there are other minor competitors?
