Open Question: Getting out of a lease!?

Me and my fiance moved into our apartment's in september of 09. Our first apartment was clean it was a one bedroom and I was pregnant then his little sister moved in and the landlord said we had to get a two bedroom. When we seen the first two bedroom it was nice but we couldn't keep our dish network which we didn't have the money to do. The only other apartment was crap she made us fix stuff up like a plumber fixed a pipe by cutting a piece or the sheet rock out in the wrong place and was never repaired a knife hole in the door cigarette burn's in the carpet quarter size hole's in the wall don't get me started on the bathroom the shower was and still is gross there was mold in all courner we took picture's but the camrea is gone we want out now but we need our deposit or is it just not worth it?Please help our family!
