Open Question: In swing trading If I bought XYZ share 100/- rupee at closing & for next day if I keep stop loss at 99 /-RS?

If next day stock opens at 97 Rs/ below stop loss price ,in this case stop loss doesnt get trigered & stock price goes further down & loss goes on increasing What is the solution for such situation. Why off market stop loss orders are not allowed in future & option
