Open Question: Boss trying to make me quit. What should I do?

I have been working at my current job for the past 8 years. About for years ago new management has taken over. The old management loved me and I was high on the totem pole but when the new management took over I feel that they have been trying to peg me and find little things wrong so they can get rid of me. I am a very hard worker and hear nothing but good things from my coworkers and supervisors but yet the owner/main supervisor says that she is hearing complaints about me and no one else. They have also not given me any more responsability claiming that they don't feel its good for the buisness because I'm a student and therefore a flight risk. They come up with all kinds of things that Im doing wrong but have of the time they are wrong and don't have there facts straight. They claim that my coworkers are complaining but yet these are the same group of employees that they are giving the opportunities too and they same ones that all hang out together after work with sometimes the boss being included in their outings. I feel like I'm being discriminated against because I choose to abstain from going out with coworkers after hours. They have flat out told me that they feel that I need to find another job and that they feel they might be better off with out me. However my boss tells me I am a likable person and do a great job for her. I don't know what to do I want to quit because everyday is painful working my but off and getting praise in public but suppossingly in private I'm being brought down. I haven't had a formal review in quite sometime even though the other employees have my conversations with the management come only after the fact ( like when a coworker got in my face and cussed me out because she stuck her nose in my buisiness and I told her I didn't appreciate it, but yet I got the heat for it because A) she is a memeber of the afterwork coworker party and B. she is a minority). When I moved father away from my job due to getting married and having to relocate they also told me then to look for another job closer to home. I just don't know what to do my pride hurts and at this point I have looked and looked for new job but haven't been successful cause no one seems to be hiring. I want to quit but cannot afford to. What should I do I need advice.
