Open Question: Do you need to verify your Paypal account to sell on Ebay?

I want to sell on Ebay and was wondering if I had to verify my Paypal? I have tried to verify it but I kept forgetting to checkhow much they deposited and now I can't verify it If I do sell on Ebay, I want the money deposited into my Paypal account
