Kenya aims to seal $600 mln short-term loan by mid-Jan

NAIROBI (Reuters) - Kenya has approached 14 international banks to finance a $600 million short-term loan and it expects to seal the deal with a maximum of three by mid-January, the finance ministry said on Wednesday. "We may be able to conclude with either one or three. We are expecting the process will be complete by mid January," Joseph Kinyua, permanent secretary in the finance ministry, told reporters.
