Information: Business optimism soars to record-high
The business optimism of Filipino businessmen and entrepreneurs reached a high in the 2nd quarter of 2013, with the overall Confidence Index (CI) increasing to 54.9%, the highest reading since the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) first released the Business Expectations Survey (BES) in the 1st quarter of 2007. In 2012, the CI was at 44.5%.
