Open Question: confused: wages>>>>>>??

I am 16 years old guy. my dad is a surgeon, tried speaking to him about his job, but keeps it private and he doesn't tell me how much he earns. He is one of the top surgeons in the main hospital in the city we live in, he drives a bentley. i know he makes a good wage, he also works in a private hospital. i was in getting a haircut today and the guy cutting my hair started talking about jobs, talking about computer software developers and how they earn £400 a hour. he then started talking about the private hospital thats up the road (where my dad works), apparently his wife works there as a assistant or something, she earns £7.50 an hour, but he was saying his wife had to sign a sheet of paper and it showed how much they earn from putting a camera down peoples throat an up there backside (don't no what its called again), he said it was £3000 each time, i didn't mentioned my dad is a surgeon to him. also, apparently some surgeons do 30 of these a day= £90,000 a day!!! i nearly passed out. plus my dad works in the main hospital for people who can't afford to go private, does that mean that he earns that kind of money, plus that isn;t even his wage, thats above his wage, i calculated it and it comes to (£90,000 x 5days a week= £450,000) also if you calculate that a year (£450,000x 50weeks just say = 22,500,000) he works non stop…. i'm not that interested in money but its just that i can't get my head around how much he earns, my dad won't tell me. do you think he earns this much? we live in a house thats worth few million at least, he got bentley. i've never really thought about it much, i go to normal school, its not like we're rich, apart from the house and his car, everything is normal, whenever we go on holiday we don't go first class, my dad is really ordinary thats why its so weird to think he earns so much, thats more than celebrities earn????>!!!!
