Open Question: Investment Options ????????

Hey Evey one, My Father have about Rs.7.5 Lakh and we want to invest it for next 3 yrs. We have four family members - Father - 59 yrs., will retire in Aug.2010. Mother - 54 yrs., four yrs. to retirement. Myself - 25 yrs., well earning. Brother - 22 yrs., learning CFP. We all do have health cover and well insured. My father do some trading and investments in direct equities. We have semi - aggressive appetite. How should we plan our investments? Where to invest? i.e. MF, Corporate FD's, Direct Equities.
